As a bearing manufacturer and custom bearing designer since 1981, we’ve had the privilege to supply precision bearings to some of the most performance-focused companies in the world. One such company is Boeing. As a Boeing supplier, we’ve prided ourselves on meeting their rigid standards of excellence and supplier performance.
Today, we are proud to announce that Schatz Bearing Corp has just received The Boeing Performance Excellence Award for suppliers. The BPEA (as Boeing calls it) is an official Boeing program awarding only the best suppliers to the organization. With specific metrics analyzing customer satisfaction and supplier performance, 2018 marks the 5th year in a row that Schatz has received this honor.
This year, Schatz received a Silver award. To achieve Silver status a supplier must deliver goods 98% – 99.99% on-time, and have a quality acceptance rating of 99.80% – 99.99%. This is a challenging and elusive award and we feel it is one of the many things that sets us apart from our competition.
Boeing’s prestigious industry awards are a testament to the hard work we’ve put into developing precision bearings for the aerospace industry over the last four decades. At Schatz, our commitment to our customers is paramount and we are humbled to be recognized yet again, as a partner of excellence to Boeing.

As a smaller company, we’ve been able to truly partner our bearing design and manufacturing teams directly with our customers; allowing us to respond and collaborate with much more flexibility than many of our competitors.
